Asking Her Father’s Blessing

Asking her parent’s blessing is a big step in your relationship. It locks down your intentions to marry their daughter and it give you a chance to open up and form a bond with her parents. Years ago it wasn’t a questions as to whether or not you were going to ask her parents permission, now however the tradition is not followed through as well. If you’re debating whether or not you should ask her parents for their blessing here are some reasons why you should.

1. It’s good bonding time between you and her parents. It gives them the opportunity to get to know you more and possibly strengthen your relationship with them.

2. It lets her parents know your intentions are sincere.

3. It gives you the chance to know what her parents think of your relationship.

4. Women think it’s a very sweet and respectable gesture. Your girl will love you even more after you ask for her parents permission. It lets her know that you respect her parents and are willing to have a relationship with them.

5. It will make it easier on the father letting his little girl go knowing she will be in good hands.
