In the gardens you can admire the rich and unusual plants, the Lagoon, monuments and fountains, and the Swan Boats created and operated for over 100 years. Boston Commons- The Boston Commons is the oldest park in the country. It is where the beginning of the freedom trail lies. This park, unlike the Public Gardens is not a botanical garden. This 50-acre park is still a beautiful and exotic break from the hustle and bustle of the city that surrounds it.
